The Evergreen program aims to build your knowledge and skills through a structured training and development program. The program will challenge you through a variety of work placements where you will deal with clients, analyse taxpayer needs, assess the integrity of taxpayer accounts and perform administrative duties. It is likely that the roles will be in telephony work areas. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be advanced to the next classification level (APS3) with a pay increase. Program participants will be provided a program manager to assist you throughout the program and to provide ongoing support and personalised advice on your career progression.
To be eligible for consideration for this program, you are required to meet the requirements of the following:
• Be an Australian citizen and agree to have a criminal history records check
• Are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• Are accepted by their community as being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which you live or have lived
