We are looking to fill roles in our Service Delivery and Client Engagement Groups.
Staff in our Service Delivery Group are usually the first point of contact between taxpayers and the ATO. This means they play a vital role in shaping how our clients’ view the work we do.
Service Delivery staff respond to enquiries from the community and provide information and support to help our clients meet their taxation and superannuation obligations.
The majority of the work we do in Service Delivery involves extensive client contact in a scheduled environment. We interact with the community through multiple channels including phone, paper, web-chat, email and our online portals. We deliver real outcomes for the community in a fast-paced, supportive team environment.
Our Client Engagement Group is focused on making it as easy as possible for people to understand and meet their taxation and superannuation obligations. We do this by providing both advice and guidance. We use data and intelligence to identify and deal with non-compliance and implement strategies to increase levels of voluntary compliance.
Most of our work involves direct contact with our clients, either written, in person, over the phone and via our portals.
We respond to enquiries from the community and work with our clients to provide them with information and support to meet their obligations and to manage their affairs.
Our ideal candidate:
• has the ability to understand and apply procedures, policies and processes to undertake a range of tasks
• has the ability to identify issues and work through solutions
• can research, investigate and analyse information using a variety of tools
• can work effectively in a team, demonstrating reliability, flexibility and resilience
• has sound communication skills with the ability to achieve quality results in a fast-paced environment
To be considered for a role within our Client Engagement Group you will also need practical experience in taxation, superannuation and/or business matters.
Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term
This recruitment process is being used to fill ongoing positions. Some non-ongoing positions may be offered up to 18 months. These non-ongoing position(s) may become ongoing in the next 12 months.
