A challenging opportunity exists within a small team that combines the project management and delivery of an adult education corporate governance training program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations, their directors, members and key staff.
The Project Officer role involves project management (including travel booking and arrangements), procurement, training delivery and data entry through a team of staff and external trainers. The role also requires working with and enhancing cooperative working relationships with key stakeholders and other government departments and non-government departments.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel to both regional and remote areas within Australia
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and have the ability to handle multiple competing priorities within tight time frames. Excellent communication skills with the demonstrated ability and experience to liaise with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are essential qualities.
You will also possess demonstrated experience in project management, procurement and travel systems. Demonstrated training experience with adult education programs would also be an advantage. This role would be suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced small team.
