Job description


The Evergreen program is only open to Australians of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. It is an 18-month development program that provides you with a permanent full-time job on successful completion.
As part of the program you will have the opportunity to work in various areas of the ATO. The program is designed to develop your skills through case work for various market segments, administrative support in business and customer service activities in a call centre environment.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be advanced to the next classification level (APS3) with a pay increase.


To be eligible for consideration for this program, you are required to meet the requirements of the following:
• Be an Australian citizen and agree to have a criminal history records check
• Are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• Are accepted by your community as being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which you live or have lived
