The Jump-start program offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples an entry point to the workforce via the ATO. Candidates will complete varied administration tasks providing them with the opportunity to develop skills and valuable workplace experience in a supportive environment.
The Jump-start program is only open to Australians of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
These roles may be offered on an irregular/intermittent (casual) basis or non-ongoing basis for up to 12 months in our Dandenong and Penrith sites.
During the initial training period candidates will work on a casual basis (3 shifts per week). Subject to successful progress in the program, candidates may be offered a full time role on a non-ongoing basis (up to 12 months).
The program is aimed at those who have limited or no work experience, recently completed a certificate course or school and/or wants to return to work. The program is a great way to develop skills and valuable workplace experience whilst working in a supportive environment.
To be eligible for consideration for this program, you are required to meet the requirements of the following:
• Be an Australian citizen and agree to have a criminal history records check
• Are of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait
• Are accepted by your community as being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which you live or have lived
Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for an irregular/intermittent term
